I took a CW return to AMS the day before and then on the day my tier point year ended.
Avios for both flights credited as normal – but zero tier points.
This has never happened to me before – has anyone else experienced this?
Yes, I’ve had that on the day my collection year ends, which I was expecting. Day before should be fine, though. Was it a very late arrival?

Neither the outbound nor inbound credited with TPs, but Avios have. Both flights landed mid afternoon.
Intriguing! One to raise with customer services I guess.
This thread discusses in a bit more detail: https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/british-airways-executive-club/2110138-tier-point-collection-year-end-date-flights-count.html
Are you sure they haven’t credited? Take a look at your lifetime tier points total. Has that changed? I suspect that they were credited and then immediately your yearly TP counter was reset to zero because of the new collection year.
Were you relying on the TP to retain or gain status? If so you may need to talk to BAEC but I’d check the lifetime number first.

Any issue it seems should only be around which year should be credited (according to the thread I should be fine on that score) – not whether they are credited at all! Can’t understand why the Avios have processed but not the TP.
Guess I’d better clear two hours for a phone call…

Yes, booked the flights to retain status.
Lifetime tier points not changed; when looking at ‘recent transactions’ in my account, both flights are in there with 875 Avios credited for each leg but zero tier points.
Next transaction is tier points adjustment -250 points for the expired year.
@Rooster just highlighting my post which appeared immediately before yours as we posted at the same time. Check your lifetime total. I suspect they did credit but were immediately zeroed out from the year counter.

You’re correct.
The app hadn’t updated the LTTP but when I went to desktop, I see them and I have retained status – thanks!
If I could get into my account, I’d show you a screenshot on what happened to me, which was similar. I flew back from HND on the day my tier point collection ends. The Avios awarded, but the TPs were shown as zero and I assumed this was because they were zeroed out as part of the change of collection year. Never queried it as this was a redemption booking and I was quite happy to take the Avios!
