I’ve got a one-way flight booked for Sydney to London, with a 2 night stopover in Singapore in November this year. It is for two people on an economy reward flight with a 241.
I didn’t have enough points for anything other than economy when I booked it, but now I have some more.
Is there a process to ‘upgrade’ the ticket to premium economy / business if reward seats become available? Or is it just a case of cancelling and rebooking?
There is currently premium economy available showing for the Sydney to Singapore part of the journey, but not for the Sinapore to London part. Is it possible to upgrade each bit if/when they become available?
Thanks.
I have never done it before but yes it is possible to upgrade, even individual segments. No need to cancel and rebook.
I think it is also possible via MMB but just calling BAEC will work too. I think you need to select modify existing booking option on the phone options list. Hope the seat is still there for yoy
Just to add I notice you say its a 2-4-1 booking. Assuming that was earned on the BAPP card otherwise you’re stuck as the voucher earned on a free BA Amex is for economy class only.
