Which airport in FL best chance of Club Suite?
Planning to go to Florida July 2024
Want to utilise my 241 companion voucher plus add 2 economy tickets
I’m assuming Miami is the only place?
Yes and even then at least one of the flights is usually a A380, I think the earlier one

Just to be clear these will have to be two separate bookings

Is there a difference in the CW Suite in A380 and other Club Suite?
I take it there’s no other airports that will offer CW Suites?

A380 is still old CW. Unless I’m mistaken then the rest of FL (orlando, Tampa) is back at Gatwick now so will be the old CW seat as well. There was one CS aircraft operating out of there sporadically over winter at least but I wouldn’t bank on it
Miami is moving to double daily A380 from this winter and may remain into the summer next year – in which case there will be no flights to Florida in Club Suite available.

Just great.not lol
Had a thought is there a massive difference in price to go LAX instead? For avios and economy?

Are you thinking of destinations in terms of the seat you may get? That’ll end in tears.

Yes I was hoping for the Suite, by your comment looks like not a good idea

I believe the closest you’ll get to a guarantee is LHR-JFK.
It’s a pleasant seat, the door is nonsense, I suppose for some it offers a sense of privacy, to me it just seems pointless.
But really you should think about where you want to go and what you can do whilst there, much more important than a seat. In terms of old CW the A380 to Miami is a very nice experience. Maybe just factor in the cost of paying for some of the nicer seats. Upstairs the CW window seats have huge side bins and there are ones by bulkheads that have more privacy than a CS door offers, and direct aisle access. 53AK and 59AK from memory, but check aerolopa to confirm that. I have seat choice through status so hopefully someone else will comment on whether these can be purchased, as possibly BA keep the best seats for status holders rather than the priced not sell market.
LAX sees a mix of aircraft so no guarantee there. BA can always swap aircraft, even JFK sees the odd non CS 777-300ER etc.
Agree with @dougzz99 it’s not a life changing enough experience to plan a whole trip around. A window in old CW isn’t a bad way to travel and arguably if you’re a couple or family it is a better option. I don’t close the door I find it too stuffy for sleeping
Club Suite is certainly not worth planning a holiday around – and if you’re looking for a wow factor business class experience you better look at a different airline entirely.
fair enough guys noted! thanks for your input
hoping there will be a slim chance Miami will have the new style if not hard luck. im stuck with BA as i have a load of avios.

Thanks for your comments much appreciated I believe the holiday should start at the airport, lounge etc. also fed up with the old CW IFE.
