In your experiences which card gets the better offers?
I know the BA one won’t get any flight’s deals which sometimes can be really good like the united one. What do you think?
Depends what you’re after – the BA Amex will have Avios specific offers, whereas the membership rewards one only tends to give cashback. I have both, and on balance I’d suggest the MR one is slightly better. But that might just be because I put more spend through it.
In my experience there are usually more offers on MR earning cards.
I find whichever card you aren’t using gets the better offers.
I’ve had my BA card for 6 or 7 years now and it is easily the card with the better offers. I have had a Gold/Platinum account for two years now, but the offers on that account are not as good.
My BA card is used for >90% of the year.
62 on the MR, 24 on BA currently. 6 months ago that ratio was reversed. A year ago I had fewer than 10 on both cards.
My MR card gets 80% of the spend and always has. Everyone gets different offers at different times, there is no logic to it.
