Forums Frequent flyer programs British Airways Executive Club Wine Flyer offer – double up?

  • carlclem 6 posts

    Hi,
I have the Wine Flyer Avios offer saved to my Amex offers, which is 2000 avios if you spend £80 plus an additional 1500 avios if an order is placed via the Wine Flyer website.
Question is, if I access the Wine Flyer website via the Shopping link in the BA Executive Club where there is a 10 avois per £1 link, will this add further avois or will it override / replace the Amex offers?
    Thanks

I have tried that and the transactions did not register at Shooping.ba at all so either there is a bug on the website or it does not currently allow to collect additional avios. Btw, it is 5 avios for £1 unless you purchase as part of a subscription then 10 avios.

I also couldn’t get it to work through the BA shopping portal. The Easter 10 discount did work though, which took my 12 bottles down to £120, so hopefully some reasonable wines from Italy and New Zealand and almost 5,000 Avios with my BA Amex offer. Interestingly there was no shipping charged, it looks like they took the amount prior to the discount for calculating shipping. Whoever suggested the Easter 10 code first thanks a lot.

Have only just realised the Easter extra 1500 Avios for spending £100 from the recent Wineflyer offer appeared in my BA Exec last week.

6630 total Avios and free shipping from my £129 Wineflyer spend, not too shabby.
