Tesco is running an ‘open to all’ promotion on its website, offering 500 bonus Clubcard points to everyone who spends £50 or more on wine from their ‘Finest’ selection. This is worth 1,200 Avio or 1,250 Virgin Flying Club miles at the standard conversion rate.
Some people have reported that the code works on any wine, not just Finest. However, as Tesco do not add bonus points from wine orders until just before your quarterly statement is prepard, you would not know for sure that this worked until it was too late. Just because the bonus points show when you order does not mean that they will be eventually awarded if you have not followed the rules.
The deadline for ordering is January 31st. Unfortunately, it is unlikely that even if you ordered today you would be able to get the points in time for the February statement run.

I have just tried this for >£50 of Finest Chabilis. Got the following:
Sorry, there seems to be a problem
Sorry, this ecoupon cannot be accepted. Please check that you have not mistyped the code and/or that you are the eligible recipient. Ref: 50027
That’s very odd. Is it offering a delivery date beyond 31st January? Perhaps that is the issue. The code is on the website so it is not an eligibility issue.
I have checked and, you’re right, its not working properly. This is clearly a Tesco IT issue as the code is on the home page for all to use.
A Tesco IT issue? Quel surprise!!
Send an email through the link and they’ll add the points manually, that’s what I did when I got the same error.
