BMI and Virgin Atlantic partnership to end on 31st August

We finally have a date.

31st August is the last day for Virgin Atlantic Flying Club members to redeem or earn Virgin miles on BMI flights.

I assume this is reciprocal, so that 31st August will also be the last day to redeem BMI miles for Virgin Atlantic flights. This is still to be confirmed, though.

No need to apologise Raffles. These updates are great and save me trawling through endless drivel on FT. Your site is brilliant so thank you.

  • Roger says:

From the VS link: ‘For new reward bookings please contact your local Flying Club helpline to check availability. Travel must be completed on or before 31 August 2012.’

Even redemptions must be flown by 31/08/2012! A-a-a-argh!

If that’s the same in reverse – using BD miles for VS flights – that’s upset my notional 2013 plan.

No need to apologize. I love them, keep ’em coming! FT is great but it’s a bit of work to extract the UK-specific stuff out 🙂
