Here is the latest edition of our regular feature which summarises offers that are ending soon.

It pulls together the different deals mentioned on our Top Avios Points Earning Offers, Top Hotel Bonus Points Offers and Top UK Credit Card Offers pages.

Miles and points offers which are about to close

There are quite a few deals ending in the next two weeks, so it’s worth taking another look at them.

Heathrow Rewards is offering 2,000 points with your first Rocketmiles hotel booking and when you buy clothes. Both offers end on Monday – the Rocketmiles deal is a good way to pick up 2,000 airline miles, and is especially handy if you want miles which are trickier to pick up such as Miles & More.

Sunday 28th April is the last day to get 4,000 Clubcard points (9,600 Avios or 10,000 Virgin Flying Club miles) with Tesco Mobile – a generous deal considering the fact that Tesco has been very stingy with bonus points lately.  You would need to get started on this now, however, as it takes a couple of days to get everything set up.  Details are here.

How quickly should the bonus club card points for the rocket pack post to your account. I took out the £20 rocket pack toward end of March but not had any points or any text confirming them. (The woman in Tesco mobile registered my club card number for me before I purchased the pack).

Should I be chasing this up with customer services ?

    • jimA says:

IIRC reports on here have been of 5-9 days -I had an email after 7 days to say they had been posted

Are you sure she registered it ? Just swiping will only give you the usual 220 points not the bonus

      • Nick says:

Yeah I’m sure because I got a text saying your club card has successfully been linked, after which I purchased the rocket pack.

        • Spurs Debs says:

Chase them up, I had one lot post ok but not second. I phoned Clubcard who said phone mobile who hadn’t a clue what I was talking about and referred me back to Clubcard.
That’s as far as I got but I will call Clubcard again when I’ve got more time next week.

      • BJ says:

Yes, almost all reporting exactly 9 days after topping up with £20 although I saw one post stating 5 or 6 days. If you call 282 and select add clubcard option you can check the number they have linked is correct. That seems the most likely problem as there has been few reported problems.

    • Annabelle says:

Mine took 6 days to credit 2000 points and my husbands 9 days from point of adding rocket pack. If you login on Tesco mobile website you can see the clubcard you have linked to the sim and 20 points would have also been added before hand for the actual top up?

      • Nick says:

        Update

Contacted Tesco mobile via live chat and within 5 minutes agent had credited my account with 2000 club card points. Agent knew exactly what I was asking about and solved it very efficiently (just said they did not automatically add for an unknown reason).

So live chat may be a good way to chase them on it if anyone else has an issue.

        Thanks all

      • Spurs Debs says:

Yes I’ve got the 20 points but not the 2000, tesco mobile didn’t have a clue about the rocketmiles promotion. I got the first lot no problem, and my Mum got her two lots posted just fine.

        • Lady London says:

Would points coming slower be linked to the time of activation?

    • ADS says:

when i tried to buy the 20 quid credit over the phone – i got an automated warning that my first purchase couldn’t be done over the phone … but i continued anyway in case it might let me … it didn’t !

i used a self service till at a normal tesco shop (not a Tesco mobile phone shop) to purchase a 20 quid voucher. i’m sure i could have done it online, but i needed to go to Tesco anyway !

  • EwanG says:

Rob – you’ve not got the correct link to the Tesco offer above. It links to the Grange Hotels rebranding bits article.
    It should be to https://headforpoints.com/2019/03/09/get-4800-avios-for-20-with-a-new-tesco-mobile-offer/

  • TripRep says:

“and remember that ALL avios.com accounts linked to Flybe will be closed tonight, with the points lost”

    ALL?

The previous article seems to say that if it’s also linked to AerClub it won’t be closed?
