If you took part in the Avios / Nectar launch promotion, take a look at your British Airways Executive Club account.

Avios was offering a bonus of 500 points if you transferred 1,600 Nectar points into Avios. These have now arrived, at least for me.

You will NOT receive the bonus if you moved 1,000 Avios to Nectar and immediately moved them back again. I’m surprised to see that BA’s IT was up to spotting that, but it did.

Triggering this bonus also triggered double base Nectar points on your shopping at Sainsbury’s up to 19th April. These points are not meant to arrive until 28 days after the end of the offer, so you should expect them in mid May.

If you are not up to speed with the new Avios / Nectar partnership, we have created a new HfP category for the articles. You can see them all by clicking here or by selecting ‘Sainsbury’s and Nectar’ from the categories menu which appears on every article page in the right-hand sidebar on the desktop site.

Online transfers between Avios and Nectar remain suspended whilst site security, including 2FA, is beefed up.

Can anybody confirm if Airtime Rewards works if I put my Curve card details in the profile?

  • Ryan says:

I recall this being raised in November last time…

The V SA front page is showing as nothing for Morrisons

But on the calculator, it’s showing as 7 per £, does anyone know if I can take that as good?

  • Aston100 says:

    Regarding ‘TurksThatTwerk’ (thanks @Andrewseftel).
I’ve signed up and gone to the grocery section but can’t see Morrisons.
In fact, the only supermarket I recognise is Iceland.
I did a search for Morrisons, to no avail.
Should I therefore presume that not all of us Turks get the same Twerks?

    • Harry T says:

Yes, looks like it is targeted like airtime rewards. I have Morrison’s on my Twerk account.

      • Aston100 says:

        Booo.
I seem to be unlucky with everything to do with supermarkets.

  • Aston100 says:

Anybody got a referral code for Airtime Rewards please?

  • Dan says:

Do Morrison’s Gift Cards earn the More points?

  • Iain says:

I found this amusing from Nectar FAQs: “Do Nectar Points ever expire? There’s no automatic expiry date for Nectar points. But if you don’t collect or spend any points for a year, we assume you no longer want to take part in the Nectar programme and close your account”. It’s like: does my milk have a use by date? No, but if you don’t open it within a week we will throw out your fridge.

    • Kevin C says:

Nectar reinstated our account and our points when I asked them nicely about it through the chat function. The revived points are listed as ‘goodwill points’.

  • Will says:

For the Morrisons offer with Amex, what is the most anyone has spent on these offers? I want to buy a lot of gift cards – maybe £4k+ but I don’t want to be banned for misuse or anything….. so just thinking whether to buy less.

I’ve got 10% off Morrisons on the Platinum Business and 7% off Morrisons on the BA card.

    • Sina says:

I know Harry T bought around £2.5k last time, and I bought £1.1k tonight. make sure to check VA portal as well to see if you have any offers?

  • Rob says:

Whilst not openly advertised, there is a £45 deals for 3 months of FT Weekend delivered. You need to go through the standard FT Weekend sign-up forms – which don’t mention the quarterly option – and it pops up at the end.
