Jersey moves all of England, Scotland and Wales to ‘Green’, with no 6-12 hour quarantine

  You say “This means that any resident of England, Wales or Scotland will be able to enter Jersey without 5+ days of quarantine.”. But is this really true? Are the controls not largely based on travel history rather than residency? Would a resident of one of these countries not still not be subject to controls if they have been to an amber or red territory in the previous 14 days?

  Mass clinics in Scotland only issued the cards for about a fortnight. Those cards were printed at a time when it was thought you’d be making your appointment for your 2nd dose (in 21 days) when you presented for your first. It was basically designed like one of those reminder cards you get from the dentist or hairdresser- with the type and batch number for patient info. These were never designed to be international travel documents. At the moment, in Scotland, there is no way to prove that you have been vaccinated. Details from mass clinics are sent to GPs for their records but there is no standard certification GPs can issue based on these records currently.

      It should not be down to Primary Care to spend time producing a document so that people can go on holiday. I could never see this being a reasonable demand on the time of local surgeries. It’s not what they are there for. NHS priority must always be health, not the admin of making sure someone lucky enough to have been vaccinated already can get away for their week in the sun.

    I went onto the NHS (Scot) vaccination website and it shows first vaccine and appointment for second. I realise it’s not a simple app, but there is a way to showed you’ve been jagged.

        Hi Keith. If you still have your original blue envelope letter there will be a unique code – something like Keith (surname)(number) – and this will give you these details when you log in. If you don’t know when your second jag is, the details may in fact be there.

  Does anyone have any experience with travelling to Jersey with their pet dog? Condor ferry rules require dogs to stay in the car (there’s no way I’m leaving mine alone in a car for >10 hours). Do pet owners actually do that?! Any advice would be appreciated.
