          I had the same thing – I just opened a new Virgin account, I didn’t have many points in the first so it wasn’t so much of a bother. The website accepted this number. Very strange.

  Even though limited to 80k+80k this time, it’s still easy to buy on multiple accounts and transfer free. That’s what I did to book 10 nights at the Conrad Maldives for next month using 760k points.

  Not going to bother with these points bonus things again. Did the Virgin/Tesco one last year and haven’t been credited anything. Ditto with the Rocket Miles one, no bonus credited. To much hassle for no reward.
