Good new Amex hotel cashback offers released – 2 x Marriott (up to 37% back), LHW and more

American Express has launched a new wave of hotel cashback deals. Whatever you are planning this Spring, you are likely to find a deal for you.

As usual, these offers may or may not appear somewhere on your American Express account. You need to look under the ‘Offers’ tab for every Amex card you hold, and ‘Save’ those offers which you want to use.

Here are the new deals which appeared yesterday:

Get £75 back on £200 spend at Marriott – Marriott Bonvoy American Express holders (it seems)

Get £50 back on £200 spend at Marriott – other Amex cards

• This offer expires on 31st July

• The offer is almost certainly cumulative although this is not mentioned in the small print

• The list of participating Marriott Bonvoy hotels is here (PDF) – it is 17 pages long, so there is no shortage of options. All of the hotels are in Europe.

• Remember that you get 1,000 bonus Marriott Bonvoy points and double elite night credits on Marriott stays until 4th May, although registration is now closed

Get £100 back on £400 spend at Marriott luxury hotels

• This offer expires on 31st July

• The list of participating Marriott Bonvoy hotels is here (PDF). All of the hotels are in Europe.

• The Langley (website) is included for anyone looking for a UK weekend break

• Participating hotels we have reviewed include (click for the article) Castillo Hotel Son Vida in Mallorca, Hotel Arts Barcelona, Barcelona EDITION, The Ritz Carlton Tenerife, The St Regis Mallorca, W Barcelona and W Ibiza

• This offer expires on 20th July

• Whilst in theory you are meant to book via the LHW website, the cashback should trigger irrespective. This would allow you to double up with additional benefits if you book via our hotel booking partner Emyr Thomas.
