Save 15% on IHG One Rewards redemptions at new hotels

IHG One Rewards is continuing with its new promotion which offers a 15% discount on redemptions at selected new hotels.

The list has been extended with more new hotels so I thought we’d take another look.

Whilst IHG is revenue based so it is hard to compare to the ‘usual’ price, I know from previous experience that the deals are genuine. I rebooked a stay for my wife when this offer first launched and saved exactly 15% on what I originally paid.

The key dates are:

  • book by 30th November 2023
  • stay by 30th November 2023
  • there are no limits to the number of stays you can book
  • the cancellation rules are the same as standard redemptions

The list of participating hotels is here.

In Europe, the options are:

Of the non-Europe hotels, I would flag Th8 Palm Dubai Beach Resort, Vignette Collection which we covered here.

Remember that ‘new hotel’ doesn’t necessarily mean ‘new build’ with the expected bells and whistles. Some hotels above have switched brands to join IHG, which means you won’t necessarily get a shiny fresh property.

Full details are on this page of the IHG website.

Just saved 16k points on a 3 night redemption in Dallas – well worth checking existing bookings!

We really enjoyed Lythe Hill, pool and especially good breakfast (free with Diamond).Cash rates early in the week are often under £100 too. Go to the nearby Sculpture park in Churt.

Indigo in Manchester seems to be reduced too despite not being on list (or wasn’t when I looked) – worth checking redemption bookings if you have ten mins

I nabbed Indigo Manchester in the global flash sale to status members that ended yesterday and mentioned in comments, unfortunately not in an article so I suspect many missed it, weird by contrast that this very limited list of hotels reduced gets a mention

Everyone who could access the private sale got an email about it, so it wasn’t essential to cover it. On a quieter week we might have done it.

Mmm so Hyatt, watchfinder, a retread of Avios from LCY, NH hotels regular earnings, a general update on Avios earnings to Eire and the same with Accor cards were all more interesting and time dependent? I think not
