Forums Frequent flyer programs The British Airways Club BA Holidays double tier points offer – MASTER THREAD

    Quick update.

‘New’ BA Holiday. Business trip to Aus Qatar F and hotel for 10 nights.

Tier points and Avios credited 48 hours after each flight sector and the Holidays bonus Avios and TP 4 days after so very decent and swift. Miracles do happen.

15,000 – 3/4 – of way to new Gold – just need BA Amex points to be sorted now. Does seem that GGL is a long long way out of reach – maybe that was the plan.

Another quick data point on BA Holiday tier points posting

I had a BA Holiday from April 18 to 20th (booked about a week in advance). Bonus tier points posted 3 days after each sector. BA Holiday tier points posted on May 2nd

I had another BA Holiday last week May 2nd to 7th (Booked in March) Bonus tier points posted 3 days after each sector, but the BA holiday tier points posted May 8th – the day after the holiday ended, so definitely an improvement

Back from an old rules BA holiday to Barbados in club world 10 days ago.

The flights credited within 2-3 days, with 1868 TP each way. The double TP appeared after about a week giving another 3734 for a total of 7468.

Fortunately, amongst all this I also revived the 500 TP for the Amex Black card, so silver status has now been achieved with a card expiry 30/04/2027.

More luck than judgement, and several things coming together, but happy with silver for almost two years for an outlay of £2100! It will likely be for the last time!

I booked a BAH holiday when the double TP offer was running under the old system. Booking was in mid December 2024. Travelled out on 25th June 2025 morning and returned on 30th June, arriving in London before midnight, spending 5 nights. During the time of the booking, the double TP promo ran till 30th June.

I got the tier points for the outbound and return flights a couple of days after completion of the flights with the correct conversion factor but haven’t got the bonus nTPs yet.

Sometime in March, BA contacted me to say that they no longer have an agreement with the hotel I booked originally and offered a Mercure in the same city, which I refused. I requested a Hilton and they agreed to switch to the Hilton at no extra cost. At this time, I asked the agent whether it will have any impact on the Tier points and she said no.

Also I paid a small amount from the original deposit by Avios (around £60 worth I think).

I still haven’t got the bonus nTPs. Its still the 12th working day from the return flight, so I haven’t raised a ticket with BAH yet but now I’m wondering if I’ve done anything wrong. Any suggestions or is there anyone who has been in the same situation?

I’m still waiting for DTP for ‘old’ BAH that finished on 30th June – no changes on mine – they’re maybe just a bit behind again. I think it’s up to 14 days for them to post.
