Closed Barclaycard – pending avios

I’ve asked to close my barclaycard on the app – they said it’s been done, but I just realised I have 10k avios that is pending and hasn’t been transferred across yet. Am I forfeiting these points?

Is the £20 monthly fee charged for the next month ahead?

The monthly fee is charged on the statement date in advance, although you may find you are extremely lucky and have your previous monthly membership fees refunded automatically…
