I’d booked 2 hotel rooms for myself and my brother but can longer make the trip myself. Is it likely the hotel will honour the reservation if I’m not there and my brother checks in and pays instead? I’d cancel and get him to rebook but it’s too close to the travel now and the prices are very high
We need to know which country and which hotel chain to advise in an informed way
Tricky I think; I don’t recall ever checking into a US hotel and not being asked for photo ID. Furthermore, Melia are Spanish owned and so have expectations that to register for their loyalty scheme you’ll give them your passport number.
