On a splash n dash early June for some sun and points. Naively (or stupidly without checking) I thought incoming flight would go to T5 but no it’s T3! BA let me book the connection but it’s only 75 minutes from landing (assuming on time) and departure to NCL (which is almost always late leaving)
Will that be enough time to transfer or do I need to start doing some sprint training? Needless to say it’s non changeable/non refundable with double points as away for 5 nights.
Gold member so if I miss will BA put me on the next available flight that evening?
TIA
As long as it’s on one booking, i.e. permitted by BA they would put you on the next flight (as long as there are seats, of course) if you missed the connection. Is it flight only, or a BA holiday?
75 minutes should be enough if no delays. When you say early June, hopefully you mean after half term?!
Um the T3-T5 Minimum Connection Time is 90 minutes so BA really shouldn’t have sold you this.
Whether this is flight only or a holiday booking is neither here nor there. Ditto being gold when iot comes to being rebooked.
Where are you flying in from? It’s possible when you fly it is a T5 arrical inw hich case 75 mins exceeds the T5-T5 60 mins MCT,
I was only asking because BA Holidays can be quite helpful and might agree to move OP to another domestic flight if he contacts them.
They would only rebook if due to a schedule chanhe the connection went below the MCT (or it was erroneous)
Butthout knowing where the incoming flight is from it’s impossile to say if this is a valid connection, on a single ticket, or not.
It’s a 5 day stay with BA holidays hence the double points. All on one tickets and flying in from Madrid on Iberia.
I might speak to BA and see if they can move if as you say BA really should not have sold this as less than the minimum 90 minutes. Failing that it’s crossing all fingers and sprinting!
On a separate note I’ve just picked up 10,000 Avios compo from last month’s late arrival into NCL!
IB is scheduled to move back to T5 at the begining of June* – which would explain why they permitetd a75 minute connection which would exceed the 60 min T5-T5 MCT
* couple of dummy bookings show it’s from the 1st.

On a side note, maybe I’m missing something but not sure how you qualify for the double Tier Point offer as your BA Holidays Booking doesn’t originate from the UK?

That’s the return leg: trip starts and ends at NCL and it was while checking flight details that I noted the transfer time
