Upgrading to paid Barclaycard Avios card

Anyone successfully upgraded to the paid card? If so did it go through without problems?

Originally took out the paid for card, hit targets downgraded and now about a year on thinking of going back to the paid card.

Yes I have. Took out the paid card on launch, then downgraded to the free card which I’ve had for a year. I United the upgrade back to the paid card recently and it has been accepted. I need to wait now for the paid card to be sent out to me which should be just after my upcoming statement.

I used to have the Plus card but downgraded to the free version over a year ago.
In my app, under the ‘change to a different card’ option it shows a 5k Avios welcome bonus for getting the Plus card.
Doesn’t look like an upgrade.

There was talk that you can’t get a signup bonus more than once every two years, so not sure what would happen if I were to proceed.
