British Airways Gatwick £150 Club Europe sale – add a hotel or car for £2 to £6 per night

I wrote yesterday about the amazing £150 Club Europe sale that British Airways is running for just 48 hours.

It ends at midnight tonight, Wednesday.

You can find full details on here.

There are some incredible deals, such as Malta or Marrakech for £150 return and 160 tier points.

I wrote the article yesterday at 6am and so didn’t have much time to play around with the actual fares themselves.  What I didn’t spot at the time is that these prices are also valid in conjunction with BA Holidays.

What I mean is that you can get a deal like this:

Yes, that is three nights in a four-star hotel in Malta plus business class flights on British Airways for just £169 per person, based on two sharing.  The hotel costs you £6 per night per person on top of the £150 cost of the flight!

Or, assuming you would use points for a hotel, why not throw in a car?

Yes, you read that correctly.  In this example, you only pay an extra £5.50 (£1.80 per day) to add a car to your £150 Club Europe flight to Malta.

Similar deals are available to other destinations in the sale.  Take a look at this page on for the £150 sale rules and travel dates and then see what you can find.

Remember that you need to book by midnight tonight, Wednesday.

  • Kevin says:

Oh, no booked the flights yesterday. Is there any way of adding the hotels/car hire later? I tried, but won’t give me any such deals now.

    • Martin says:

Ah, I was wondering that as well..doubt it..

    • chris says:

I think BA still have a 24 hour free cancellation policy worth a call ?

      • Rob says:

Yes, your flight is fully refundable up to 24 hours after booking.

Not necessarily worth the trouble though if I’m honest. You might save £30 to £50 or so over booking the bits separately but not much more.

  • Martin says:

Thanks. I’ve already booked some flights. Can I still link them to a hotel or is it too late ?

  • Erico1875 says:

If You choose flight/hotel combo then you can’t part pay with Avios.

    • Martin says:

Ah forgot about that.. I think I will leave it as I am well happy with my Venice trip for 148 Pounds plus Avios business flights!! It seriously is a great deal..

    • Erico1875 says:

The above hotel itself is only £23 pp for the 3 days via BA.
If booked via Travel Republic its £21

  • simon says:

    Someone decide for me!

Marakkech or Malta in december for 3 nights?

  • Worzel says:

    OK Simon:

    Go for Marrakech-sorted !

Awaiting the trip report 🙂 .

  • Mike says:

Booking the Hotel at the same time as my flight, reduced the total cost to £147!!! So no only is the hotel free, it reduced the cost of flights – only for 2 nights, but still, easy tier points

  • Paul W says:

Hottest place out of all available options in February? Fancy some warm(er) weather….

  • Conor McCully says:

Marrakesh in Jan, Malta in Feb for 2 people. I secured the CE component last night and will book hotels shortly as they are cheap whether booked direct or via BA Holidays. Any recommendations for a Malta property? £600 for 2 x CE Returns = 2 nice breaks, 18k avios & 320 TP’s. Now for a 280 TP run ex DUB somewhere in 2016! Hope everyone got a bite out of this European pie?!
