British Airways has unveiled a range of Avios hotel promotions for people who prefer to earn Avios rather than hotel points when they stay.
Full details of all of these offers can be found on the ‘News and Offers’ Executive Club pages on ba.com.
Here are the deals:
Fairmont Hotels – double Avios and guaranteed late check-out for stays before 31st March. European hotels only, including The Savoy. Must pay ‘Best Available Rate’. Book at fairmont.com.
Preferred Hotels & Resorts – double Avios (1,000 per stay) on a two-night minimum stay at any property globally. Must book and stay by 31st March 2016 using code MKTDBL. Book at preferredhotels.com.
Hilton – double Avios, I have written about this offer already here
Accor (Novotel, Sofitel, Ibis, Mercure) – TRIPLE Avios for stays before 10th April. However, you should do this promotion via Iberia Plus instead as I wrote here, due to the higher earning rate.
IHG (Holiday Inn, HI Express, Crowne Plaza, InterCon) – double Avios, I covered this offer in detail here
Taj Hotels – double Avios on stays before 31st March, see this ba.com page for more details
Shangri-La – double Avios on a two night stay, triple avios on a three night stay and quadruple avios on a four night stay when booking at the Best Available Rate for stays before 29th February
and finally, Langham.
Langham is offering double Avios when you book a ‘Linger Longer’ package at any of their hotels. You need to use code BAYE15LL and book and stay by 29th February.
Free Club upgrade at The Langham London
If you were thinking about staying at The Langham in London, there is another deal which may interest you.
The Langham Hotel in Portland Place, just off Oxford Street, has recently completed a major refurbishment. I had a tour of The Langham when the project was partly complete and was impressed. The Langham also supported a Head for Points competition a while ago.
With the refurbishment now complete, the executive lounge has moved upstairs and looks great, see above.
Via this offer, you can get free access to the lounge on your next stay before 31st March.
British Airways Executive Club Gold members can join the ‘1865’ loyalty scheme directly at ‘Voyager’ level which is almost top tier. I wrote about the British Airways / Langham 1865 tie-up here.
The ‘free Club access’ offer at the hotel is outlined here.
