Then don’t mention it in the first place.
Chris Chris Chris – many here can benefit from the £10 off £20 @Domino’s – but you would deny them that?
Think about it: 2 big pizzas – you can do 2 of the big pizza half & halves if you feel like it – plus a tandoori wrap (or anything that takes your fancy to get you over £20) – all for £10?
You think cash withdrawals are demeaning but you eat Domino’s?? 🙂
I like the tandoori wrap, rest is for the kids
Thanks. Harry. Shame you can’t get it Chris haha
anyway: I said no problem with the cash withdrawal people, they/ you can do whatever see fit
just not my style – as I’m classy
Has – Harry changed his name ?
Yes
GCHQ and HMRC are not fooled
There’s another Harry. He can have Harry.
30th September is also the last day for up to 21,000 M&M miles for an economist subscription via Lufthansa.
Tempted by the Sixt/Emirates promotion but still battling with Avis for Skyward miles from a rental in February. Although the regular miles posted to my account they refuse to pay the bonus 9000 as they say I used a BA code. I booked it directly from Emirates Skywards promotion page thus I don’t know how this is possible. Anyone else have any success with that offer? Getting tired of being fobbed off by Avis and Emirates. Wary of signing up for similar offers.
I had a similar issue with Budget crediting to AirBerlin (!) rather than Lufthansa.
I deduced that the problem was that my profile with the Car Rental company had the other airline, and in their process (maybe code error, maybe very manual) that overrode the airline and my membership number from the promotion page.
I guess one should change one’s preferred airline on the standard website before going to the promotion page.
Hi Bagoly, thank you for your reply. For this particular rental I deliberately didn’t use my Avis Preferred profile as I was concerned it might do exactly that and even took a number of screenshots whilst making the reservation. I have provided these to Avis but they still refuse. All rather disappointing.
Similar issues here – won a good prize in the Avis / Iberia competition but they refuse to honour it. Am currently avoiding them which is a shame as they’re easy to deal with otherwise.
BA holidays sale – despite the travel gates given I’ve just booked a great package deal for my OH to travel with me and our son who are on 2 4 1 bookings for next August. CW flight, one night in a hotel and 18 days’ car hire came in at £1k less than booking separately. Not sure if this was officially in the sale but there are clearly good deals to be had for school summer holidays 2019.
Dates not gates!
