Miles and points offers which are about to close

    Amex ShopSmall runs from 1st to 16th December this year.
    There is still time to make sure that you have got the full set of supplementary cards as the offer is per card, not per account.
    Someone said earlier in the week that Lloyds cards do not count this year; has anyone got any information on that please? I suppose it will depend on whether ShopSmall appears on the Connect website.

      In the email Amex is sending out it says at the bottom that Lloyd’s Bank is excluded.

          We have 2 Lloyd’s cards. I had to flight last year to get some manual credits from Lloyd’s. Decided I wouldn’t use them again anyway.

    31st October is also apparently the date when HK airline pricing rules change. So there is the potential for airlines to adjust their exHKG pricing model after this date – permitting them to raise the cash element on redemptions. Having previously booked business class redemptions exHKG with about 10 GBP of taxes this was very nice.
