Radisson Rewards has launched its January sale for weekend bookings in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Full details of the sale are here.

This offers a double bonus for members, who not only get a 30% discount on their room but will also receive 2,500 bonus Radisson Rewards points with each booking.

January Sale deals are available for booking until 31st January.  You must be a Radisson Rewards member to get the full 30% sale discount.

You can book for ANY weekend in 2020.  Importanly, you can also book seven days per week over the Easter period of 6th to 19th April.

Deals cover all brands – Radisson Blu, Radisson RED, Radisson Collection, Park Inn and Park Plaza are the core UK ones.

I value a Radisson Rewards point at 0.33p, so you’re getting an extra £8 of value per booking from the 2,500 bonus points.  For a cheap Park Inn stay this makes a substantial difference.

Remember that Radisson Rewards Gold status (benefits here) is available to you for free if you have an American Express Platinum card.

Full details of the January sale are on the Radisson website here.

How to earn Radisson Rewards points and status from UK credit cards

How to earn Radisson Rewards points and status from UK credit cards (April 2024)

Radisson Rewards does not have a dedicated UK credit card. However, you can earn Radisson Rewards points by converting Membership Rewards points earned from selected UK American Express cards.

These cards earn Membership Rewards points:

Membership Rewards points convert at 1:3 into Radisson Rewards points which is a very attractive rate.  The cards above all earn 1 Membership Rewards point per £1 spent on your card, which converts to 3 Radisson Rewards points.

Even better, holders of The Platinum Card receive free Radisson Rewards Premium status for as long as they hold the card.  It also comes with Hilton Honors Gold, Marriott Bonvoy Gold and MeliaRewards Gold status.  We reviewed American Express Platinum in detail here.
