REMINDER: Win 100,000 Avios with Cruise118 and Head for Points!

We wanted to remind you today about the fantastic competition we are currently running.  One lucky reader will win 100,000 Avios courtesy of Avios partner Cruise118.

We haven’t done a huge amount about cruising on Head for Points before, but we know that it’s a popular holiday choice for many readers.  If it’s something you or a family member are considering, it can be a lucrative way of earning additional Avios.

How earn Avios with Cruise118

Cruise118 offers you 3 Avios for every £1 spent which is an attractive earn rate.  For example, a 10 day cruise around Italy and the Med on the luxury cruise operator Regent Seven Seas could earn you over 18,000 Avios PER PERSON.

Not only that, Cruise118 is currently offering up to 10% off and up to £300 onboard spending money in their Big Cruise Sale so it’s a good time to get booking.  You can visit their website here to find out more.

How can I win 100,000 Avios?

The competition is very straightforward to enter.  Simply fill out the Gleam app at the bottom of this post (or by clicking through to the Gleam website) and leave your name and email address. That’s it!

We are also offering you the opportunity to double your chances and receive a second entry to the competition by signing up to Cruise118’s email newsletter.  This is optional but is worthwhile as you will be first to hear about their special offers and sales.

Earn Avios with Cruise118

If you don’t choose to get a second entry by signing up to the Cruise118 newsletter, your details remain confidential and will not be passed to Cruise118 (unless you win!).  Head for Points will not use your email address for any other purpose.  We will delete all of the data at our end after the winner has been confirmed.

Comments

  1. Unfortunately the article is misleading.

Using the Avios linked Cruise 118 option is a lousy deal. At best the Avios are worth say 3%. Yes there are separate Cruise 118 deals with up to a 10% discount on cruise cost excluding port taxes. For many of the up market cruise lines this is not especially competitive if one shops around for a good deal from a Cruise Agent.

  2. I get “Sorry, this promotion is not available in your region”.

And yet, nowhere in the terms and conditions does it say anything about regional applicability or exclusions….

    • Peter K says:

But it is mentioned in a summary of the rules in the main article.

    • This is mentioned in the article, but we have now updated the landing page terms and conditions to reflect this too.

    • I’m in the UK and also got the ‘Sorry, this promotion is not available in your region’ message. I had my VPN on (albeit connected to a server in the UK) but I disconnected my VPN and the widget/link to competition entry then showed up and worked.
