BA Amex: Spend £1000 on airfrance.co.uk, get £150 back, UK departures only.

AF on BA lol, amex may be in hot water for that one. That’s a good offer for many of their PY fares that hover around the £1k mark.

Quick. Save it before they notice!

Are there good connections on Air France from EDI/GLA?

They’ve noticed 😶 – the AF offer now expires today

Mine showed as expiring today this morning, it’s back to the original expiry this evening. Will check in the morning.

Only on BAPP cards? Intern probably realised his mistake.

I don’t think it was the intern this time; this looks more like the handiwork of a disgruntled ex-BA employee 😁

When I looked at my Platinum card offers yesterday, the AF offer was reset to expire yesterday, however, upon seeing @Andrew ‘s message above, I have seen where it has been restored to its original expiry date.

Stack of new offers this morning.

    Shop in Italy £300/£50
    Shop in France £175/£35
    Google £550/£75
    Apple £800/£80
    Millennium Hotels £200/£70

The shop in France one is valid up to 8 times but only once per brand – not cumulative, which makes the offer very odd for LE CHOCOLAT ALAIN DUCASSE – needing to spend £175 on chocolate!

Not even sure why I saved them as they are some weak af offers

The Millennium Offer is “in-store” only.

Anyone know if the a pre-paid rate is processed/charged by the hotel or by central reservations?

If any of the previous Apple offers are anything to go by then if won’t be a problem.

Not odd, buy two 1kg chocolate bars at over £100 and you are already way over or 90 piece box for £127 and one more box for £50ish. It’s terrible chocolate that’s why it’s on the list as they can’t shift it at those prices…

Works just fine. Apple ended up splitting the processing of my 2 gift cards into a GBP 500 and GBP 300 as separate transactions (max on one GC is 500) and the statement credit triggered regardless.

I wonder if the Google credit would trigger similarly over 2 transactions given the wording on the offer is identical to Apple’s, which triggered just fine over 2 (“Save to card to get a GBP 75 statement credit when you make one or more transactions up to GBP 550+ online)”

Is this something you have to have as an offer on your account or is it open to all – in which case how do you sign up for it?

Opt in, shows on your offer list if it’s available on your card.

It’s a saveable offer – not on my Plat but on P2’s ARCC.

MO offer includes Hong Kong, Japan and US.

Seems Amex is expanding these offers to the properties outside Western Europe more frequently.

On my Platinum Cashback Everyday card but not on Gold. Was tempted to close the Platinum Cashback card because there’s only about 10 offers on there, but if Amex are gonna offer these offers, might just keep it open.

Spend £300 get £100 back Maybourne group (claridges etc) by 10 September. As per standard terms gift cards apparently excluded, has anyone had any previous experience of purchasing a gift card and getting the offer to trigger?
