My ‘Sloan street’ £50 offer combined with my Harvey Nics £25 offer to get me £75 off a £250 spend. Note additional ~8% TCB that tracked and 15% rewards discount. So this worked quite well.

    Was this online?

The Sloane Street offer is for in-store purchases, not online.

On Centurion, probably the same on Platinum/others…

£50 statement credit when you make a single, eligible transaction of £250+ in participating store(s) at Motcomb Street, Belgravia by 30/12/2024.

Also five different 20 credit on 100 spend offers on sunglasses/opticians.

Fortnum & Mason 7% statement credit when you spend any amount on a GBP transaction in participating store(s) or online at Fortnum & Mason by 23/12/2024. Valid every time up to £200 for the first 15,000 Cardmembers to save.

On BA basic Amex, similar F&M offer but with 15% credit!

15% Fortnums for me, and 10% Decathlon. Both incredibly well timed for me!

Bittersweet for me; no Tfl which I use at least twice/week (probably why not targetted)

But realised that for my “other route” into London, LNER ticket purchase is a good option, unfortunately it’s on blue, not BAPP.

Had this on my Plat, which is very handy given that bookings are fully flexible by default. On an upcoming booking the price had decreased £15 since I originally booked, plus this saved me a further £15, so all in all a successful 5 minutes of admin to cancel and rebook.

Might be the same issue I’ve been dealing with some restaurants in Chinatown where they have different card readers and only some will accept Amex.

I really need to get rid of my BA Blue card. Has anyone got it on a Marriott or Rewards Credit Card? Trying to decide which one to get.

The United offer isn’t showing on my Marriott card (only my Cashback). I’ve always found the Marriott offers to be far inferior to the other cards I’ve held, but YMMV. I only have the Marriott card for the bonus elite nights, and 95% of my spend on it is at Marriott group hotels.

I have a BA card and an MR card – personally I prefer the versatility of MR points.

There was one last month, expiring on 31st Dec. So the answer is no.

This just appeared on Harrods card…

5% statement credit when you spend any amount on a GBP transaction online at Giftable – Gift cards from over 80 brands by 28/2/2025.

Liberty is one of the brands, with no upper limit on the credit it might be handy.

    Bit of a weird one…..

I’ve had to return items after a few months to
Harvey Nic’s (faulty) I had received my £50 credit back in August. I’m presuming if Harvey Nic’s refunds then the credit will be reversed. Am I right in presuming if I spend again soon which will still be within the 6 months, I will receive another credit or is it one and done?

Also does the Harvey Nic’s spend reset June and December or is it a personal 6 months to everyone’s own card?

    TIA

It’s July-December credit period that you are in, not related to joining date.

If there’s been no other HN spend which would have earned the credit, I’d imagine it’ll depend on how HN process the refund – if it’s not linked/traceable by Amex to the original spend, then what would trigger reversing the credit?

If it were reversed, then I’d expect qualifying spend before the end of year to re-trigger the credit.

Trouble is, being near year end, it’s possible the credit might be reversed too late for you to do anything about it.
