    Bit of a weird one…..

I’ve had to return items after a few months to
Harvey Nic’s (faulty) I had received my £50 credit back in August. I’m presuming if Harvey Nic’s refunds then the credit will be reversed. Am I right in presuming if I spend again soon which will still be within the 6 months, I will receive another credit or is it one and done?

Also does the Harvey Nic’s spend reset June and December or is it a personal 6 months to everyone’s own card?

    TIA

It’s July-December credit period that you are in, not related to joining date.

If there’s been no other HN spend which would have earned the credit, I’d imagine it’ll depend on how HN process the refund – if it’s not linked/traceable by Amex to the original spend, then what would trigger reversing the credit?

If it were reversed, then I’d expect qualifying spend before the end of year to re-trigger the credit.

Trouble is, being near year end, it’s possible the credit might be reversed too late for you to do anything about it.

Thank you! And I agree…..Cats ARE best. 🙂

Spend £200 get £50 back online at D&D Gift Shop. This should stack with their cyber Monday deal – 25% off vouchers but must be used Jan to March.

Just looked into this and you’d need a £200
And £75 voucher at a cost of £206.25.

So in theory £275 for £156.25.

Their mailshot just arrived on my doorstop too. I have a wildly exciting £3 off was £20.

I won’t go out of my way for £8, but YMMV.

Well their terms are quite clear (emphasis mine)

We can change any of the terms of any offer before you save the offer to your Card.

I have a real weird one & not sure how it applied.
However, I bought a denon amp from Amazon France & Amex gave me £50 statement credit.
No idea how or why! Not 50 euro, converted either, but it brought the amp to under £400. Its £600 in the UK! :-

    AMAZON.FR
    Transaction Details
    Credit
    -£50.00
Will appear as a credit on your 24 Dec statement as AMAZON.FR

What are you talking about. I was merely suggesting it’s an IT glitch as the offer has moved to “Redeemed” before the expiry date despite the offer not being finished yet. It’s get 10% back every time up until 18th December.

    – £50 off £250 – Amex Cashback offer at Sloane Street boutiques (includes HN Knightsbridge)
    – £50 HN credit – Amex Platinum Lifestyle credit

    £130 off £300!

It was limited to £5 total. So presumably you hit the max and it now shows redeemed. Call off the hounds

I’m looking to buy a £200 Ikea gift card at the store checkout this week in order to use the spend £200 get £20 off offer. I assume, as this will be done via the usual Ikea checkout this will go through fine and I can store the saving for spending in late January but has anyone done this succesfully?

Used the appleyard deal yesterday and saved over 30%. Firstly the site offered 15% to new customers and then the amex offer 15% on top of that. It also triggered the deal immediately and was credited today.
