Priority Pass adds a spa experience at Heathrow Terminal 5

Links on Head for Points may support the site by paying a commission.  See here for all partner links.

The first Priority Pass ‘spa experience’ at Heathrow has appeared – and it’s in the British Airways terminal, Terminal 5.

The snag is that you CANNOT access this with a Priority Pass issued by American Express.

You CAN access it with a Priority Pass issued by any other financial institution, or one you have bought directly. LoungeKey, issued with HSBC World Elite credit cards, is also OK.

Be Relax Spa Heathrow Airport Priority Pass

What can you get?

The experience is at the Be Relax Spa. There are two of these – one by Gate A8 in the main Terminal 5 (this is a pop-up with no privacy) and one by Gate B35 in the first satellite, pictured above.

Swipe your non-Amex Priority Pass or LoungeKey card and you will receive your choice of:

  • Be Back 15-minute Massage
  • Be Back 30-minute Massage
  • Polish Change plus Hand Massage
  • Be Feet on lounger 10-minute

The spa is open from 8am to 5pm Monday to Thursday and 8am to 7pm Friday to Sunday. You cannot pre-book treatments.

You can find out more on the Priority Pass website here.

PS. Remember that there is also a restaurant option for non-Amex issued Priority Pass and LoungeKey cards in Terminal 5 now. See this HfP article.

@Rob @Rhys – Slightly related; are there any Seatspy subscription offers on the horizon?

  • MariaJ says:

Very disappointing. I was there at 12:00 an by 12:01 already told me to go on a waiting list 🙁

  • Sundar says:

Thanks Rob and Rhys for organizing the tickets in 2 slots – Tried yesterday and then today and then kept on refreshing as Eventbrite started showing Few tickets left, so hoping for luck and got lucky 😉 🙂
As always appreciate all the hard work you do, looking forward to meeting some of the rest of the community.

  • PeterK says:

Bang on 12:00 I clicked the link and had a ticket and as Apple Pay was an option I took that. Apple Pay appeared to work then came back with an error message. Tried again immediately and same thing happened. The third time I tried to pay by another means but as soon as I clicked I got a message saying no tickets available.

Now on waitlist for what it’s worth; perhaps next time single tickets only? For those who have tickets have a great evening ✈️.

    • JohnTh says:

Same for me when using paypal, felt sure I had bagged 2 for about 30secs…

  • Matt says:

I missed the party again this year again tried to book but couldn’t get two tickets. Same problem of as others people in here 😔

  • old bob says:

ROLL CALL Who’s actually going? I did last year but got fed up of the queues for a drink, went out to the main bar sank a few , fell asleep, and missed the raffle, i was only awoken by the stampede to leave after the draw had finished.

    • TGLoyalty says:

      I’ll be there

But only a few to fall asleep at a loud bar 👀

    • xcalx says:

LOL. That will be the compers, an old acquaintance from my comping days emailed me today to brag he and his group and secured 16 x 2 tickets, and that’s just his group. They will go to the extremes to win and usually do. I really hope a few regulars manage to win something this time round.

      • phantomchickenz says:

Excuse my ignorance – what is a ‘comper’? I’m guessing someone who tries to get things complimentary?

        • David says:

If that’s the case, sums up most if the regular/persistent commenters here.

  • The Savage Squirrel says:

“an old acquaintance from my comping days emailed me today to brag he and his group and secured 16 x 2 tickets”

Just a thought, @Rob. Look at this… Looking at comments today you have ridiculous amounts of excess demand. If you’re wanting to host a genuine HfP reader event rather than an event where airlines provide prizes for semi-professional ticket and raffle players with little interest in HfP (and who of course will have exactly the software tools to snap up tickets in seconds – want further proof of this; watch that room empty after the raffle…), then maybe it’s better to change the maths by having a higher ticket price or, actually, a worse raffle.

    • Rob says:

I doubt this is true, because they’ve failed to think through the maths. SeatSpy subscribers get 2 tickets so the number of tickets in the draw (plus the airline and hotel people who also get tickets) is actually nearer 900 than 500 so mathematically you are behind, not infront 🙂

      • AirMax says:

Also these alleged compers will have travel costs to get there and the value of their time if points collecting is not one of their interests

      • VinZ says:

I’m a seatspy subscriber but got my tickets the regular way, not on the presale. Do I get 2 raffle tickets too?

        • Rob says:

Yes. The process for doing this will be communicated later (ie we haven’t fully worked it out yet).

    • Chrisasaurus says:

Or dare I say it no raffle….

  • E4 Traveller says:

I thought there was already a PP ‘spa experience’ at T5: the awful Aspire lounge whenever the sun turned it into a sauna.
