The United offer is running until 10 October on my AmEx. I wonder if that’s because I redeemed the first offer, so they’re giving me more separation perhaps.

Oct 11 – I understand this is the last day Amex for the legacy benefits on Personal gold and to do the “spend £15k get 10k points” anniversary bonus. After then it’s 2.5k bonus points for every £5k you spend (up to 12.5k bonus points). Plus the other changes!

Was going to make a booking for United today, 26 Sep and logged into my Amex account to check and it has indeed been extended until 10th Oct. Planning to book Lufthansa return flights via FRA to SFO (Boeing 747-I operated), some good fares around £400 Basic Economy for early next year, will upgrade another £100 to include baggage to meet £500 spend criteria.
