The aim of this feature is to summarise flight, hotel and points offers that are ending soon.  Everything listed below has been covered on HfP in recent weeks, but years of experience of running offers for HfP readers has made it very clear that a large proportion like to leave things to the last minute ….

Here are registration links for the current hotel promotions from the major chains:

  • Hilton Honors – double base points, plus 2000 extra points for weekday checkouts, from 6th September to 31st December – register here
  • Marriott Bonvoy – 2000 bonus points per stay, starting with your second stay, from 21st September to 15th December – register here by 1st December
  • World of Hyatt – earn double points on stays of 2+ nights from 15th September to 20th December – register here

Accor, IHG and Radisson are not currently running a global promotion.

Monday 17th October

Last day to apply for American Express Business Platinum before the fee increases from £595 to £650 (apply here)

Friday 21st October

Last day to book in the Radisson Hotels sale (stay between 1st November and 15th January)

Tuesday 25th October

Last day to apply for American Express Platinum and get the huge 60,000 Membership Rewards points bonus and a £200 travel credit! (apply here)

Friday 28th October

Last day to book an Air France flight to benefit from the £200 American Express cashback for spending £1,200

Monday 31st October

    The United offer is running until 10 October on my AmEx. I wonder if that’s because I redeemed the first offer, so they’re giving me more separation perhaps.

      Typo, sorry. It is 2000 points per night, from the 2nd stay. Article was corrected earlier.

    Oct 11 – I understand this is the last day Amex for the legacy benefits on Personal gold and to do the “spend £15k get 10k points” anniversary bonus. After then it’s 2.5k bonus points for every £5k you spend (up to 12.5k bonus points). Plus the other changes!

    Was going to make a booking for United today, 26 Sep and logged into my Amex account to check and it has indeed been extended until 10th Oct. Planning to book Lufthansa return flights via FRA to SFO (Boeing 747-I operated), some good fares around £400 Basic Economy for early next year, will upgrade another £100 to include baggage to meet £500 spend criteria.
