Keep up to date with new hotel offers by signing up for our free daily or weekly newsletters.

After a one month hiatus waiting for new offers to start, we have brought back our regular round-up of the best hotel promotions currently running.

All of the information in this article can also be found on our ‘Hotel Offers’ page which contains details of all of the current offers, together with links to our major articles on each hotel scheme.  However, a positive response from readers – especially our 16,000 email subscribers – means we run this monthly article as a handy summary.

Here are quick summaries and links to the registration pages you need for each offer – do it before you forget.

Hilton Honors

Hilton Honors is running TWO promotions – you can register for both, and both will credit on the same stay.

The first promotion offers double Hilton Honors base points on all stays, plus an extra 2,000 bonus points on stays with a Monday to Friday checkout, between 6th September and 31st December.  You can register for this offer here.

The second promotion offers double elite night credits, meaning that each night counts as two nights towards earning or retaining Hilton Honors status.  This runs from 11th October to 31st December.  You can register for this offer here.

IHG One Rewards

IHG One Rewards is letting you choose between 2,000 bonus points for every two nights or 10,000 bonus points for every four nights.  The promotion runs from 13th October to 31st December.

Marriott Bonvoy

Marriott Bonvoy is offering 2,000 bonus points per stay between 21st September and 15th December.  The offer only applies to cash stays and starts with your second stay during the period.  Marriott Bonvoy American Express cardholders will receive additional bonuses.  Registration closes on 1st December.

Current American Express cashback offers

It’s also worth noting the current American Express cashback offers which may be showing on one of your cards and which may influence which hotels you book this month.

In all cases, you are restricted to a list of participating hotels.

Where should you credit your stays for November 2022?

Remember that, irrespective of the offers below, there is never a single ‘best’ offer.

Some offers require multiple stays to maximise the bonus, which you might not do. Some require stays to be a minimum number of nights before a bonus is earned.

You need to factor in any elite status you have, which will earn you additional status bonuses.

More importantly, you need to be able to use the points. There is no value in earning a large bonus in a scheme where you will never go on to earn enough points to get a free night.

Hilton (Hampton, Conrad, Waldorf-Astoria etc)

Hilton is running TWO offers at the same stay. You can register for both, and both will credit to your account.

The points offer is called ‘Double Your Stay’.  You can register here.  Our full article is here. It runs until 31st December.

You will earn double base points on all stays and a further 2,000 bonus points on top if you check out on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday.

You need to register in advance of your stay via the Hilton website here.  Existing bookings count and all Hilton Honors hotels are taking part.

The second offer is for double elite night credits – handy if you are looking to retain or gain Hilton Honors status. You can register here. Our full article is here. It runs to 31st December.

IHG One Rewards new offers

IHG (InterContinental, Holiday Inn, Crowne Plaza, Hotel Indigo etc)

Between 13th October and 31st December, you can earn bonus base points on your IHG One Rewards stays.

You must register in advance via this link.

Interestingly, you can choose your reward from either:

  • 2,000 bonus points for every two nights or
  • 10,000 bonus points for every four nights

In terms of counting ‘nights’, reward nights do not count. This is different from the way that IHG usually counts ‘nights’ in terms of earning elite status or milestone rewards.

Existing bookings DO count so there is no need to rebook anything.

Current Marriott Bonvoy promotions

Marriott Bonvoy (Renaissance, The Ritz-Carlton, Sheraton, Westin, W, Aloft, St Regis, Luxury Collection, Moxy etc)

Between 21st September and 15th December, you will earn 2,000 bonus points per STAY on every cash stay at a Marriott hotel.

I value a Bonvoy point at 0.5p so this is equivalent to a £5.00 bonus per night.  It is clearly a better deal on cheap one-night stays than expensive week-long holidays.

You only receive the bonus from your second cash stay after registration. You receive no bonus on your first stay. Holders of the Marriott Bonvoy American Express card will receive additional bonuses.

Registration closes early, on 1st December.

world of hyatt narrow

Hyatt (inc Alila, Andaz, Thomson, Unbound Collection, Miraval)

Until 20th December, you can earn bonus base points on your World of Hyatt stays with the new ‘Bonus Journeys’ promotion.

You must register in advance via this link. Registration closes on 15th November.

You will earn double base points on all stays of 2+ nights.

There is an additional bonus of double elite night credits if you stay at one of 65 all inclusive resorts recently bought by Hyatt, but these are primarily not in places where you are likely to be visiting.

As well as Hyatt-branded hotels, it is also valid at participating M life Rewards destinations, Small Luxury Hotels of the World hotels and Lindblad Expeditions.

My BAPP cards have also got £75 back on £300 at Melia

  • tw33ty says:

On the Amex offers part, I have get £100 back on £250 spend on my bonvoy Amex card

  • Ryan gill says:

Related Hilton question. I’m diamond needing 13 nights or 13,997 pts for renewal. I’ve got both the current promos. So it’s 7 nights or total spend of approx £700 in hotels and spend? Day workstays count, but the 2,000 points for weekdays checkout don’t count for status?

  • wolf says:

£75 back on £300 on Melia – the participating list doesn’t include INNSIDE Manchester or Newcastle – is there any chance these would track anyway?

    • tw33ty says:

It’s strange, as the Newcastle one was on the last Melia offer.

      • Erico1875 says:

The list of participating hotels is very short!
Pity. I got pretty excited about this when it appeared.
We have got a very cheap stay at Inside Newcastle in January and it would have covered a fair bit of the bill at Ginos.

  • NorthernLass says:

A few of us seem to have £100 back with £250 spend at World Hotels. I’d never heard of them but apparently they are the upper end of Best Western. There are a couple of decent looking properties included if you can make it work for you.

    • Charles Martel says:

Does the “recognition gift” awarded to Gold (or higher) members of Best Western rewards ever include breakfast?

  • Mark says:

In the article, it says that the bonus points for Marriott only apply to cash stays. Does the same apply to IHG and Hilton, or can one receive the bonus points for points bookings at IHG and HH

  • ianM says:

Pretty sure you still get the 2000 for reward nights at Hilton. It is deducted from the cost.
