  With regard to IHG‘s ‘Double Points Plus More’ promotion, have people been recieving the double points at the same time as their usual points post for their stay ?
  Or will these all come in a lump at the end ?

  Appreciate the other target rewards will come as lump sums once the target is achieved.

  Just not sure my double points have been posting.

    I have only had a couple of stays, but the double points have posted with the stays. If you click “total earned” for the stay under account activity it should break it down into base points, elite bonus points and “double your stay”.

      Same here. Been actually very impressed how much better IHG’s system has been this time round (and I’ve met my Accelerate target for 60k points with 3 stays :D). Just wish there was more consistency between app and website – some features (such as points detail) only work properly on one not both.

  BP me app did not work for me. Very frustrating as I had to just pay directly with a card. Perhaps I can chat to amex and get £10 credit anyway.

    Tried chat with Amex Brighton about numerous Small Shops £5 credit failures. I was told Amex Marketing will deliver – with no timescale. It was a brush off.

    Has anyone had the PayPal payout from a month ago?

      Its depends who you get, I had some of mine pushed through but another agent was more difficult, from experience if they raise an investigation they will start to appear.

    I had it work twice then fail 6 times – all at the same petrol station. I drove away without fuel when it failed. I then tried another BP station and it worked fine then back to the original station and it worked fine again another twice! Ultimately very happy with my £150 of diesel for £100 😀.

    I have driven away from more BPs than I have bought petrol at – had this across 6 cards and managed to use 4 with a fair amount of struggle. Even had one where it was on the BP map as taking it and eventually the unlock transaction went through but pump wouldn’t start and they told me that it just didn’t work in their station and it just cut the pump off.
    Unfortunately the place I’ve had the only success is 50 odd miles away and not planning on getting there before deal expires.

    Many of the BP stations around me have O2 cloud wifi, which is the same as many restaurants and shopping centers, so my phone automatically connects to the wifi but does not allow any internet to pass without “signing in” via the browser. Disabling wifi and allowing the 4g to provide the internet fixed this.

    The app also seems to require GPS/Location service on the phone, so making sure this is switched on before arriving and locked on made the app work.

  OT: I have 28 stays, but should be 29 as one stay has not credited when the website upgrade was being worked on, at Hilton. I have an email saying it will be credited when the scheduled maintenance is complete however my 30th stay is a mattress run using points and cash to optimise the Amex offer.
  Do I do a mattress run to make sure I get diamond next year or risk hoping the stay credits?

      Contact the diamond desk via email. Sure they can find you on the system and assure you that you should get diamond.

      Wouldn’t bother with another mattress run as you’ve stayed the 30 required. Might just not be straight forward getting diamond automatically.

    Once you have stayed 30. Go to online chat and ask to be transferred to second level support, they will be able to manually upgrade your status and confirm your stays, they can also fix non showing stays.

  Data point from me: all my HEX tickets received 250 extra points fine, including £5.50 ones, but they posted with a delay compared to the others.
