Welcome to the Head for Points weekly newsletter, full of the latest Avios, travel loyalty and travel credit card news, hints and tips.

    May have missed an update from you but thought I’d let you know that the “loophole “ that made far more Business redemption availability from regional airports than direct from LHR even thought the connection would be through there, has been closed according to Gold Agent! Eg I had snagged MAN—LHR-YVR after reading Rob’s heads-up a while ago. Finally found direct flight so cancelled that booking but the availability didn’t reappear.

      Would require IT tweaking beyond BA’s usual abilities, given that it driven by cash pricing which varies by starting point! I don’t have an unused 241 to check annoyingly.
