This is a complete directory of our British Airways reference articles.
As the largest airline in the UK British Airways gets a lot of our attention. Whilst we periodically update and re-publish many of these articles, we thought it would be useful to collate our key reference articles in one place.
Avios redemptions
The best use of Avios is for premium cabin flight redemptions on BA and its partner airlines. (This is hopefully not news to you if you are a regular HfP reader!)
If you are new to Avios and British Airways redemptions we highly recommend you read our ‘Avios Redemption University’ series which explains how to save on taxes and fees and get the best value for your Avios.
Club Suite
In 2019, British Airways introduced a new business class product called Club Suite, making it the first European airline to install a closing door on its seats.
British Airways hopes to roll out Club Suite to all of its long-haul fleet by 2024.
First Suite
In 2020, British Airways quietly introduced a new variant of its First Class seat featuring a closing door.
The seat is currently on just a handful of aircraft. BA has not announced its plans for a further rollout of the seat.
British Airways flight reviews
Over the years we have tested and reviewed virtually all of BA’s seats and classes. Here are some typical reviews:
You can also see reviews for the legacy First Class seat here and legacy Club World seat here.
British Airways aircraft seating guides
To help guide your seat selection decisions we’ve compiled seat guides for the majority of BA’s long haul fleet.
As a reminder, seat selection is free at booking for Executive Club Silver and Gold members and seven days prior to departure for Bronze members. If you do not have free seat selection privileges you can also pay to reserve a seat.
We will continue to add seat guides for BA’s remaining long haul fleet, although the huge number of Boeing 777 variants don’t make it easy …..
